Kenya is the land of savannas, of elephants and rhinoceros, of high mountains, and of endless beaches! Kenya is so full of amazing wildlife and wonderful people that we could spend forever here! unfortunately, we don't have long, so let's get started!

1) Kenya has a rich and varied wildlife. Find out about the different type of creatures in Kenya, choose one that interests you (a bird, a mammal, a reptile, an insect, or a type of fish), and then research it for your travel log. Don't forget to include lots of pictures, drawings, and information.
2) Kenya has 2 official languages: English and Kiswahili (or Swahili). Visit Swahili Culture and Language, and read about the Swahili language. Pick 20 words (or numbers), and write down what they mean in English.
3) The Masai are a famous warrior tribe that live in Africa. Find out how they live, and write it down in your travel log. What kind of houses do they live in? What types of food do they eat? Find out as much as you can, using the Masai website, and Masai Association.
4) Do you think that the country of Kenya has a climate similar to Canada's? Do some research on the internet, and find out what the weather is like in Kenya. Does it rain a lot? Is it very hot? Does it snow there?
5) In your travel log, draw a picture of Kenya's flag. What does it mean?
