Introduction

Congratulations! You've won a trip around the world! It's the first time you've been away from home, and you can't wait to get started! This is finally your chance to learn about the world and what all the countries have to offer!

This trip is for you only; your family is being behind. They're all very jealous, and have made lists of questions that they want answered.

Since you'll be missing so much school, your teacher has asked that you maintain a travel log to hand in after every country you visit. You can include the answers to your family's questions in this travel log.

Through this adventure, it is your job to discover all of the differences between the many countries that you visit!

The Task

Your task is to make a travel log about your journeys around the world.  As you visit each country, take notes and answer questions about the different destinations that you will be visiting. When you've finished visiting each country, hand in your travel log to your teacher!

When you finally get home from your trip, you will be asked to choose your favorite part of the trip, and create a oral presentation to share with your class. It can be about ANY part of the trip!

The Process

To accomplish the task, you are going to have to visit several countries and collect information by answering the questions that your family has given you.

Your dad loves history and architecture. He wants to find out all  about ancient civilizations and their ways of life.

Your mom is interested in different cultures and wants to learn about how people in different parts of the world live: their cuisine, their clothing, their language, etc.

Your sister is crazy about animals and the environment. She wants to know about all of the planet's different animals, and their habitats.

Your brother wants to know where the most popular places in the world are, so that he can visit them later on.

Your trip's itinerary has already been planned; all you have to do is follow the numbered tasks.

Are you ready? Pack your favorite socks and LET'S GO!
