Building Entrance
The entrance to the Faculty of Education Building on Peel Street is ground
level and is equipped with automatic doors. Access to the Education Library
is easily available from this entrance by taking the elevator to the first
floor. The MUCTC Transport Adapté bus stops here.
Computers
Wheelchair accessible computers are located in the Library Reference Area.
Some computers are also equipped with special software and scanner to assist
those with visual difficulties. Staff is available to assist users.
Retrieving material from stacks
Circulation and reference staff will assist users with disabilities in
retrieving items from the stacks. Ask at either Service Desk, or call ahead
398-5726.
Photocopying
Staff will assist users with their photocopying needs. Advance notice is
appreciated.
Washrooms
A washroom equipped with stalls and fixtures designed for wheelchair access
is located on the 2nd floor, near the Peel Street entrance.
Parking
Preferential parking is available for students who require parking due
to their disabillity. Contact the Office for Students with Disabilities
(514-398-6009) Burnside Hall, Room 107.
Designated parking spaces are located in the Education Building garage.
The Education Library is accessible by taking the elevator to the first
floor.
Telephones
Height accessible pay telephones with volume control are located on all
floors of the Education building.
