MIDDLE EASTERN

SWORDS

Once again there is really only one blade that bears the significant mark of the Middle East, and that is the scimitar or shamshir. This sword was made infamous during the Crusades with it's incredible slashing power. Due to the balancing problems due to a curved blade the scimitar is generally used in combination with a shield to protect the bearer from counterattacks aftr making a swing and returning the blade to a state of readiness.
