Bio: Hello! My name is Jessica Toste and I am a PhD student in the Department of Educational & Counselling Psychology (ECP). I have been involved with the EGSS since I began graduate studies at McGill. I had the privilege of serving as President for two years (2006-2008), as well as a representative on numerous committees at the department, faculty, and university-levels. I am looking forward to taking on the role of VP Academic this year. I believe that my experience with research, academic programs, and professional service will allow me to build on the work the EGSS has already begun – specifically, continuing to support student funding and opportunities that will enhance our academic training (e.g., specialized workshops/seminars, demystifying the job search, publishing). Wishing you a successful year!
