For the past 50 years, the worlds of Science Fiction and Fantasy
have been thrilling audiences and pushing back the edges of our imaginative universe with short stories, novels, TV shows and movies that represent the deepest fears and highest hopes of humanity. They are also full of great battle scenes! Let’s get to the bottom of this popularity. In this course we will read, watch, and talk about some classic Science Fiction and Fantasy, and best of all, create our own. Re-writing endings, making up scripts: it is all possible—anything is possible in these worlds.

This activity will only be offered in weeks 1 and 2
