Project Runway Explorations 1
is led by Natasha Melikoff — For grades 5 – 9
From the design room to the runway, this course is tailor-made for anyone with a passion for fashion. Through a series of design challenges, you will learn to transform everyday objects and old clothes into brand new outfi ts. At the end of the session your one-of-a-kind designs will make their way down the runway! Imagination and ingenuity are all you need to take this course, so do not worry if you do not know how to sew. In fact, many of the challenges will involve materials other than fabric, so be prepared to tie, tape, and glue when sewing just won’t do! Come explore the world of fashion design- where creativity is always in style!
This activity will be repeated in weeks 3 and 4 as Project Runway
