Awesome Stained Glass 1
is led by François Lukawecki — For grades 4 – 9
Colour and Light Magic! (Beginners)

This workshop is all about the awesome art of creating stained glass. We will explore the history of stained glass, the various techniques used, and the different ways in which glass can be coloured. But most importantly, everyone will assemble their own stained glass artwork! From choosing the coloured glass to scoring and cutting the glass, to soldering and assembling the finished piece, students will bring home a beautiful stained glass masterpiece! There will be several design templates to choose from, the final artwork being approximately one square foot. "Safety first" will be our theme, and close supervision will be provided throughout, as well as safety gear and all materials necessary.
