Intermediate Program

Your Life and Your Money
is led by Tina Hausen — For grades 4 – 9

Are you interested in exploring your relationship with money? Would you like to know how to become independent of the work force through passive income from investments? Do you know the difference between good debt and bad debt? Do you know what a balance sheet looks like and what cashflow is? Do you know the difference between an asset and a liability? Do you know how to identify a good asset and determine its risk? In this course you will learn all these things and more. You will create a time line of your financial life. You will choose a career. You will play board games CASHFLOW for kids and CASHFLOW 101. Leslie McConnell, an experienced Financial Advisor and Mutual Fund Representative will present and answer questions. You will learn about different types of investments and different strategies for investing. You will be introduced to how the stock market works and given tools to create and monitor an investment portfolio. Come raise your financial I.Q. while having fun.
