1	Increased DAS Rates/More Free Hours for Students As of August 16, 2001 McGill's Dial-up Access Service (DAS) rates are changing, providing more subsidized (free) time for students and a less expensive hourly rate for all DAS users. The subsidized hours for students have increased from 12 to 13 hours per month (billing period, the 16th of the month until the 15th of the next month). The hourly rate has been decreased to 30 cents per hours from 40 cents per hours for all DAS users. Glenn F. Cartwright Associate Dean Contents

2	Faculty Assembly Rescheduled It has come to our attention that Rosh Hashanah will fall on September 18th, 2001; we would like to reschedule the coming General Assembly to THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH, 2001, AT 2:30 PM – instead of Wednesday, September 19th, 2001.
