Information Technology Workshop
If you haven’t already attended our Information Technology Workshop, you are cordially invited to a repeat performance, Thursday,
February 6th, at 3:00pm sharp in room 233 (Faculty Lounge).
The purpose of the workshop is to bring you up to date on Faculty practices in Information Technology, administrative computing, to demonstrate some techniques and the latest programs you may find helpful in your work.

Kinesiology & Physical Education - Sports and Exercise Psychology Symposium
The Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education along with a number of graduate students in sport psychology is hosting this years Eastern Canadian Sport and Exercise Psychology Symposium for the first time. This peer-reviewed symposium is traditionally the largest gathering in Canada of professionals and students who are working/studying in the disciplines of sport and exercise psychology.
Chancellor, Dick Pound, will be the keynote speaker.
A brochure may be obtained from the Department which will provide the details of the symposium.

Teacher's Career Panel / Wine & Cheese Reception
There will be a Teacher’s Career Panel followed by a wine & cheese reception, February 6th 2003 at 4:00 in Room 624.
Teachers of varied backgrounds will speak to students about their experiences obtaining their first teaching position and their careers in general. The 2003 Speakers are:
- George Doxas, Head of Music at Lindsay Place High School
- Mark Devitt, Elementary Teacher, St-Lambert Elementary School
- Melissa Hunter, Secondary Teacher, Lindsay Place High School
- Rebecca Wilson, Physical Education Teacher, Herbert Purcell Elementary School

International Opportunities for Youth TV Series
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the premiere of the 3-part series entitled International Opportunities for Youth TV Series showing on Canadian Learning Television on Friday January 31. This national broadcast will document the stories of young people across the country who have studied abroad. Subsequent broadcasts will highlight working abroad and living overseas.
