1 HHigher Education Mobility Grant

I am pleased to announce that Professor Alenoush Saroyan of the Faculty of Education has received a Higher Education Mobility Grant entitled: Promoting faculty development to enhance the quality of learning in higher education.

The Canadian Partners are McGill University, University of Sherbrooke and the University of Manitoba. The European Partners are l’Université catholique de Louvain and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium), Aalborg University (Denmark), Université de Bourgogne, Institut IREDU (France).

This project is funded through Human Resources Development Canada; International Academic Mobility Initiative. CANADA – European Community Program for co-operation in Higher Education and Training. The total project value is $343,994, and the value of grant from HRDC is $199,886. The grant period for this project is October 2002 – December 2005.

2 Writing Seminar Series - Public Lecture

The Centre for the Study and Teaching of Writing presents Dr. Nabaneeta Dev Sen,  award-winning poet and writer who will speak on “Poetry and Freedom”. The presentation is co-sponsored by the English Department, Visiting Speakers Series, and the McGill Centre for Research and Teaching on Women.

Announcing the Inukshuk Learning Fund's 2002 Call for Proposals, an exciting opportunity for partnerships between Inukshuk Internet Inc. and the learning communities of Canada!
