McGill Journal of Education - Margaret Gillett Award Presentation

Please join us to celebrate the presentation of the second Margaret Gillett Award given annually to the author(s) of "the best article published in the McGill Journal of Education".

This year's recipient is Diane Dagenais, Assistant Professor of Second Language Education in the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University, for her article "La représentation de la littératie dans us projet pédagogique" (Volume 36, Number 2, Spring 2001).

The reception will take place at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 30th in Room 614 (Office of First Nations and Inuit Education). All are welcome.

Positions Available - Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto

Applications are invited for positions available at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto (OISE/UT).

1.
Tenure-stream position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE TECHNOLOGIES, in the Department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning. This is an area of emphasis for the University of Toronto under the Canada Research Chairs program and the successful candidate will be nominated for a Canada Research Chair.

2.
Tenure-stream position in the MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION PROGRAM of the Department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning.

3.
Tenure-stream position in HEALTH PROMOTION OR ADDICTIONS COUNSELLING in the Department of Adult Education and Counselling Psychology.
