2 International Office Project

I am very pleased to announce that the Faculty of Education, in coordination with the University of Montreal, has been awarded a two million dollar contract to implement the Design and Delivery of a Modular Leadership Training Programme at the Master’s Level for 50 Members of the Trinidad and Tobago Ministry of Education’s Senior, Middle and School Administration Management Teams.

This is a project of the Faculty of Education International Office. Congratulations to all involved.

3 Capital Campaign - Phonathon

Memo to all Faculty and Staff members

As many of you know, I have recently been asked by the University to provide a list of Faculty priorities for the upcoming Capital Campaign. We know that we must share the vision for the Faculty and all do our part to help if we are to attain the financial goals we have set.

One of the first steps to achieving these goals is to connect with our alumni.

The Phonathon is a way in which we do this, and I ask you for your support and hope that you will join other faculty members and volunteers at:

Martlet House
(Drummond and Dr. Penfield)
March 13th, 5:30pm to 9:00pm

Alumni always love to speak with professors and students from the Faculty, to hear what is happening on campus, and it is a lot of fun because we get to hear about their experiences at McGill.

Refreshments will be served and a brief orientation session will take place before we start the calls.

The same volunteers come year after year, because they are grateful for what McGill and the Faculty of Education has given them.

It is as simple as thanking alumni for their ongoing support and asking them to help us again this year.

I hope you will join us.

Thank you for your support.

Ratna Ghosh
Dean

PS. Please advise Shauna Kelly of the Development Office at 8545 (or e-mail: shauna.kelly@mcgill.ca) if you plan to participate.

Notice to all permit holders of the Education Parking Garage.

Parking Services has been experiencing continued technical difficulties with the automated parking system. If any permit holders have experienced difficulty in entering or exiting the Garage, please forward me an E-Mail with a “short” description of events, and if possible please include the date and time i.e. morning/afternoon of incident.

The Building Director and I are in the process of compiling a file with Parking Garage incidents.

Thank you for your collaboration and cooperation in this project.
