Career Fair Update:

The 12th Annual Education Career Fair was a great success! 46 employers and over 350 students attended.

GSLIS, in conjunction with the McGill Career & Placement Service hosted their First Annual Career Fair for MLIS students on Monday, March 3rd in the Thomson House Ballroom.  There were 21 employers scheduled to attend (a great response for a new event).

Did you know? There is a Career Advisor located in the Student Affairs Office.  I am available to meet with students at the graduate and undergraduate level to discuss career-related questions such as CV Writing and Interview Technique. 

Do you get calls from schools or other employers looking to hire our students or alumni?  I can help them to fill their positions – please give them my name and number.

Hi colleagues, I am the chair for two search committees and am trying to recruit good candidates with social and academic visions. We are looking for Assist/Associate Professors for the Department of Early Childhood, Elementary, and Literacy Education. Montclair State is a terrific institution with a dean with vision and committment to social justice. Please consider these positions for either yourself, students, or colleagues.

One position is in Early Childhood and the other is in Elementary (any 0subject area) Education. We are looking for an earned doctorate or someone who defends before the end of the summer (with guarantee). The candidate should have k-12 classroom experience.
