Asistant Secretary, Dept. of the Treasury, Melbourne. - describes how Centaur
was taken over from the British Ministry of War Transport on a
bare boat basis at 9 a.m. on 9 Jan. '43. Also indicates the terms the Naval
Board would be liable for.
